She is a well-seasoned psychologist and lifelong learner who is passionate about helping others grow and improve to become their best selves.
Dr. Jackson leverages a unique combination of clinical and consulting expertise in her work with clients, utilizing an approach that is science-based, values- and strengths-driven, and growth-oriented. She partners with clients to: identify needs, set goals, uncover and leverage strengths, build skills to persist and overcome challenges, and achieve improved life functioning and satisfaction. She draws heavily from cognitive-behavioral therapy and also incorporates solution-focused, client-centered, and positive psychology approaches and tools such as mindfulness. She has specialized training in treatment of ADHD, OCD, and non-medication-based treatment of insomnia.
After many years of operating a general practice, she chose to narrow the scope of her clinical work to focus exclusively on helping adults (ages 18 and older) address challenges faced with ADHD, anxiety, insomnia, and life transitions. Her breath of experience spans across client ages 6 to 65+; community, hospital, public, and private settings; includes evaluation, diagnosis, therapy and clinical consultation services; and treatment of a broad range of client issues (ADHD, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, mood disorders, trauma, insomnia, grief/loss and living with chronic medical conditions).
Dr. Jackson also has extensive experience as a consulting psychologist in the areas of clinical consultation, programming consultation, and organizational/leadership development. Her work as a consulting psychologist is ongoing and is currently focused on partnering with organizations and professionals to enhance leadership, set strategy, build high performing teams and develop healthy organizational cultures. She is skilled in the use of selection assessment tools and delivery of customized consulting, training, and executive coaching services.
Dr. Jackson lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with her husband and two sons. She is passionate about connection – love, laughter, quality time, and having awesome experiences with her favorite people. She loves to be active, travel, and spend time outdoors.
